
Last year we saw Acura NSX prototype official launch and this year Acura plans to debut Acura NSX production version at Detroit Motor Show. The Honda Acura executive told that the production version of the NSX is identical to the concept car in terms of styling.
According to source, it has an ultra sophisticated hybrid system featuring two Electric Motor Drive Unit with adjustable control system. This system also has a powerful next generation VTEC V-6 engine with direct-injection. The estimated power output is 400 hp (298 kW) and this new NSX will be engineered and built in the U.S. The work is being controlled by Honda’s R&D Americas at a plant in Central Ohio.
A Honda executive also told that the new NSX could enter in GT racing mostly in 2014. For further details regarding the Acura’s NSX, we have to wait till it comes.
