The Chairman Toshiyuki Shiga of Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. has fixed the dates for the 43rd 2013 Tokyo Motor Show as November 22 (Friday) to December 1 (Sunday), 2013 at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo). It is ten days earlier to the previous motor show in 2011. The motor show will be open to the public from Saturday, November 23.

Just like the past show, the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show will also be a comprehensive show that includes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, Carrozzeria, vehicle bodies, parts, machinery & tools, and automobile-related services.

Tokyo Motor Show moved back to Tokyo for the first time in Twenty four years with the previous 2011 show. The organizer themed project, “SMART MOBILITY CITY 2011” also effectively showcased cutting-edge technology that links to automobiles, cities, and lifestyles. That results an increase in the visitors to 842,600, it is 37% higher than previous show. As in the case of last year’s show, the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show will also be aiming to establish itself as the amazing technology motor show in the world that exhibits to epitomize Japan as a technological powerhouse.

In order to support their place as the world’s greenest brand, Toyota Motor Corporation has showcased their short, middle and long term strategy for green cars in Tokyo Motor Show 2011.  To make its vision considering the expectations, Toyota Motor Corporation has showcased their plans for the prospect based on the Toyota iQ. The world first showing of the FT-EV III (Future Toyota – Electric Vehicle is a car based on the iQ is a four seated electric car intended for short commutes of a small above100 kilometers on a completely charged battery in the Japanese JC08 test cycle.

As for a footstep ahead in clean, green competence, the Toyota FCV – R (Fuel Cell Vehicle – Reality and Revolution) idea will be a realistic family sized hydrogen fuelled car with 4.7 meters in length. With the fuel cell unit situated cleverly beneath the particularly designed body shell, the vehicle can contain up to four passengers and space for huge luggage. The fuel cell stack, with a 70 MPa high pressure hydrogen tank has been enhanced to give a cruising distance of just about 680 kilometers.
